So now that we know some of the symptomsand some of the risks and some of the diseases associated with polycysticovary syndrome, what are some of the managements we can give to these patients? Well one of the first things we like to focus on are some lifestylechanges, because as I mentioned before a large amount of cases with PCOS are overweight or obese, so we like to try to change some of thoseparameters.So we like to get them on a food or rehearsal really to try to reduce their BMI try to reduce their heavines and to try tonormalize their insulin, insulin forbearance, and glucose tolerance. There’salso some pharmacologic medications as well and this is particularly importantfor stabilizing the menstrual irregularity. So some of these include the following: combinedestrogen progestin contraceptives are very effective, oral contraceptives can analyse not only the menstrual irregularity but alsohyperandrogenism something else that’s important is medroxyprogesteroneacetate and you can give this to patients and this is veryimportant for giving and for protecting these patients against anyendometrial cancer as I mentioned before.This may nottreat the hyperandrogenism instantly but it considers or protects theendometrium from any hyperplasia or cancer. Metformin again is a regulatorof insulin signaling and this has been been shown to help a little bit withwith the polycystic ovary syndrome evidences. Now for cases that arejust not getting the effect that they crave, they’re not assure, you know, the changes that they demand perhaps they still have hirsutism or bad acneyou can give these patients antiandrogens, such asspironolactone and finasteride. These two medications can act to impede androgeninfluence and treat some of those hyperandrogenism indications such as acne, hirsutism. How numerous eggs we have left in that treasurebox in our ovaries that we can see, right? So for all intensive roles, that numbershouldn’t ever go up, right? It needed to be go down from everything youall have learned about your bodies.Women don’t develop more eggs than merely losethem over meter. The first thing I wanted to mention aboutcan AMH actually go up is, I have questions about the test period. Like is the test accurate? What does it genuinely tell us? I’m not convinced that the test is actuallychecking this, our ovarian reserve. And that little preciou box that “youve had”. I think it’s actually testing a differentnumbers somewhere along this trajectory. Over time. I know that AMH numbers go up over time.I’ve seen it over and over and over and overagain, so why does that happen? It merely induces me question the test overall. Right. Now are some two key factors that I havefound over go that can influence AMH degrees. The first one is vitamin D. There is someresearch to show a correlation between vitamin D tiers and AMH grades that if AMH levelsare low in vitamin D ranks are low, that theoretically one will go up when the otherone goes up and it’s usually vitamin D going up influencing AMH that I had can tell youfor sure I’ve seen over and over.The other influencing influence thatI’ve seen recited over epoch is stress. Stress is a big component that affects allsorts of health conditions and organisations throughout the body. Fertility is no different and your AMH isno different. I’ve seen it over and over over experience. And your stress ranks, the route you manageit or don’t organize it can have an influence on your AMH elevations. So my two tips for increasing AMH is takesome vitamin D and let’s figure out some real behaviors for you to manage your stress. Maybe you have to compile some real changes inyour life. Maybe you’ve got to stay off social media, maybe you need some time in nature. Whatever’s gonna work for you to decreasestress. I want you to start doing it. Starvation Diets: Food abstinence doesn’t work long term | Ideal Weight

The difficulty with abstention is that it buysinto people’s all or nothing anticipating. You know there are certain type of peopleout there and I’m included in this who are either on it or they are off it. You know, I’m either really good or I’m reallybad. I’m either on a nutrition or off a diet and thatkind of personality is really attracted to abstinence because actually, they can do abstinencebut the problem is when they come off it. All the aged patterns, all the aged behaviourscome back because actually nothing has changed so if you are an all or nothing person, youknow, if you’re one of those people thinking I have to go to the gym tonight because ifI miss one light I might not go again then abstinence is not the answer for you.You know there are some diet strategies out thereare advocating doing absitence for a year, you know, person could lose a huge amountof weight in that year but they are learning absolutely nothing about maintaining weightand portion sizes and planning and all the skills they are going to need in order tomaintain load. It’s not surprising mortal would do abstinenceand then introduce all their weight back on again. You know we do have a very short part of ourplan that is abstinence but that really is a kick-start merely a preamble to see howto manage food effectively.
